Teleworks USA, Digital Works Launch Second Site Set to Bring Advanced Training, New Job Opportunities to Eastern Kentucky

Eastern Kentuckians seeking remote-work jobs they can perform using a computer and the Internet now have even more chances to train for and enter the fast-growing digital economy thanks to a partnership between two telework and technology innovators.

Just weeks after Teleworks USA and Digital Works launched an exclusive partnership to bring training and new inbound customer service job opportunities to Teleworks USA’s Teleworks Hub in Perry County, the partnership is expanding those efforts to a second Teleworks Hub in Jackson County.

Starting Jan. 12, Digital Works will begin delivering its exclusive Tier 1 customer support and technology training program at the Teleworks Hub in Annville, located at 169 Carpenter Drive.

Ribbon Cutting for Jobs Program Facility Slated for Dec. 5

Innovative Digital Works offers training in 21st century job skills

Frankfort, KY— A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for noon, Dec. 5, for the Digital Works program at the Thorn Hill Education Center, 700 Leslie Avenue.

Digital Works, an initiative of ConnectKentucky parent organization Connected Nation, helps connect people to twenty-first century jobs by offering customer service and technology training, while utilizing broadband technology for inbound customer service for global corporations. At the end of training, workers log in to work as “inbound customer service representatives.” The training provides continued mentoring with opportunities for advanced placement for upward mobility. This is work that can be done from home and eventually at the Digital Works center. The program, launched in June 2013 in Ohio, has already placed more than 250 Ohioans into jobs, with many more expected in the coming months.

Partnership Between Teleworks USA, Digital Works to Bring Advanced Training, New Job Opportunities to Eastern Kentucky

Eastern Kentuckians seeking remote-work jobs they can perform using a computer and the Internet now have more chances to train for and enter the fast-growing digital economy thanks to a partnership between two telework and technology innovators.

Teleworks USA and Digital Works are teaming up to bring an exclusive training program and new inbound customer service job opportunities to Teleworks USA’s Teleworks Hubs in Hazard and Annville.

Starting Nov. 3, Digital Works will begin delivering its exclusive Tier 1 customer support and technology training program at the Teleworks Hub in Hazard, located within the Kentucky Career Center JobSight at 412 Roy Campbell Drive.
